The Safer Neighbourhood Scheme

From November 2006 Safer Neighbourhood teams are being introduced across the county to give a more visible and effective policing presence at a local level. The teams comprise Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers and Special Constables all dedicated to working as a team in their locality.

Warwick Gates falls under the Warwick Central neighbourhood team, which covers Warwick North, South and East. The intention is that voluntary groups such as WGRA team up with their relevant neighbourhood team to prioritise and tackle local issues such as anti-social behaviour.

Our team will be based at the Warwick Police Station,
Priory Road, Warwick. CV34 4NA Tel: 01926 684361

Opening Hours for October – March

Monday – Saturday 8.00am – 4.30pm

This tip has a recycling shop and just about takes anything except liquid paint. They advise leaving the top off to allow paint to dry out and then they will take it! Chemicals only on Thursday pm please as this requires a trained chemist on site and a lot of paperwork!

For more information on recycling visit www.warwickshire.gov.uk/waste

There are more recycling points in Sainsbury’s car park on The Shires Retail Park, 3-4 minutes by car.
