I agree and feel sure that restrictions are the only way to stop our streets and roads being" littered" with parked cars

The plain fact is that a lot of these vehicles are actually illegally parked, either too close to a junction or on a bend.
The double yellow lines ooutside the shops are regularly ignored by those too lazy to turn into the car park!

Now we get snowfall which makes indescriminate parking even more selfish and dangerous. Am I really alone in thinking that this is an important issue?

The idiots who park on the double yellow lines at the shops are a pain in the ****! Why they can't use the car park I really don't know.

I couldn't agree more. This is even more frustrating when the car park is totally empty. Last Sunday morning I saw a van parked on the double yellow lines at 9.15 with the car park completely empty.
Let's have some prosecutions!

Some time since this was created but still an issue that I had to comment on! Yet again the Othello Avenue 'car park' has created a road rage incident. Cars are parked from the mini island by the park all along to the next left turning heading to the shops. It is literally impossible to see the oncoming traffic. Raised voices and flared tempers are becoming too common an occurrence. Don't even get me started on the speed that some idiots drive down here - land speed record attempt springs to mind.

The thought of increasing parking restrictions is not attractive but unfortunately I cannot see any other alternative.
