Discussions & Debates > Planned New Housing Development for 10,800 houses around Warwick Gates
Excellent news. we really need some more housing and clearly this is a spledid idea and to be encouraged. Let's hope we don't get any Nimbys throwing spanners in the works.

There is no infrastructure to cope with the additional 40,000 adults and children (UK average of 1.8 children per family).
Jobs for current residents, road networks, schooling, hospital facilities & green spaces within the community are at a stretch at present, and there is no room or need for the additional houses in Warwick and Leamington Spa, the amount of which has been dictated by Parliment, like they know what we need.
There is a group on Facebook which details what we can do to object, there is an online petition on number 10s website and there is an email address you can contact with your concerns. This is very serious, if we say nothing by September then developers will start tearing up the country side.
